Our Beliefs

As Christian Homeschoolers meeting together, we know that sometimes people want to know what we believe.

Here's our statement of faith.

WINSOME STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe the Bible is the supreme and final authority of faith and life. (2 Tim. 3:15-17)

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are co-equal, co-eternal, and fully God. (Matt. 28:19, Eph. 4:4-6)

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1-4, Matt 1:23, Phil 2:5-11, 1 Cor. 15:3-4, Acts 1:11, Acts 2:22-24, Heb. 1:1-4, Heb. 4:15)

We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. (Tit. 3:4-7, Luke 24: 46-47, Eph. 2:8-9, John 14:6, Acts 4:12

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling empowers us to live godly lives and draws us near in our relationship with God. (Gal. 5:16-18, Rom 8:9)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved for resurrection of eternal life, and the lost for resurrection to judgment and eternal punishment. (Rev. 20:11-15, 1 Cor. 15:51-57)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ and that all those who have trusted Him as Savior and serve Him as Lord are members of His body, the Church. (Eph. 1:22-23, 1 Cor. 12:12, 1 Cor. 12:27)

OUR
VERSE

1 Peter 3:15-16  ... "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.”
